DOING RESEARCH

NET RESEARCH

You can find information about almost anything on the Internet. If you are interested in finding out more about the topics you are studying in class, or if your teacher asked you to do some research about them, you can start by surfing the sites suggested in your English textbook. Then you can go a step further and use a browser like Google to find out more.

When you find an interesting homepage, blog or site, you should bookmark it and save the link in a special folder that you only use for English. Instead of copying the whole site, you can select the most relevant information and copy it into this folder. You can then look for other interesting texts, pictures, videos, interviews, etc, to add to what you have already found.
